PGA GOLF NEWS: Fairy tale continues for phenom Fujikawa at Sony Open
HONOLULU, Jan 13 -- Hawaiian teenager Tadd Fujikawa added another chapter to his fairy-tale week at the Sony Open by taking early charge in Saturday's third round.
One day after becoming the second-youngest player to make a PGA Tour cut, Fujikawa fired a 4-under-par 66 at Waialae Country Club to hold a share of the clubhouse lead with American Craig Kanada, who eagled the last for a matching 66.
The diminutive 16-year-old amateur, eight strokes off the pace overnight, rattled up six birdies and two bogeys to finish at 7-under 203.
