JENSEN: It's That Time Again

Some random thoughts as the 2007 NASCAR season is set to open today with Daytona testing:While most of us are glad that it’s time to get ready to go racing once again, and true diehard NASCAR junkies are desperate for any snippets of news they can find this year, please note the standard disclaimer I issue every year at this time: Don’t pay too much attention to the numbers that come out of NASCAR Jackson Hewitt Preseason Thunder at Daytona International Speedway this week and next. Taken by themselves, they mean very little, at least over the context of the whole season.
